This photo was taken from children I met in the Amazon who taught me how to fish, and who dived with me in a river where a family of alligators lived. If this photo is collected, the money paid for it will be used to help the people of Jarilandia, who live by the river, with very few resources, diesel-powered electricity and almost no access to diesel. The price of this piece is special and its collector may consider himself a philanthropist in relation to the population of the Amazonian Jarilandia. Our project is to take solar electricity for the social institutions of the area (like the school and the health care center).
