“Tranquility” is the second of the two piece "Ataraxia Series".
The “Ataraxia Series" explores the healing power of nature.
It’s important to find time to disconnect from the digital world we live in and there is no better way to disconnect than in nature. Whether it’s in the forests or up in the mountains; the quiet atmosphere, beautiful scenery, refreshing smells, and clean air offer complete peace and serenity.
Nature is my therapy and I find that I feel more connected being disconnected. This series was created to capture that state of tranquility. My hope is that if you aren’t able to get away and disconnect, you can turn to this piece and have a moment of ataraxia; a state of emotional freedom and tranquility. The sensation of calmness and peace of mind.
