The House of Tengu - HANA

Hana learned to take care of himself from a young age. He never knew his parents and was raised by a relative who paid little attention to him. Living in that type of situation was worse than being out on the streets. While he had a roof over his head and enough food to not go hungry, he was theoretically always alone. An extroverted child, he connected to the many gangs of teens in the Vents, always lying about what he had accomplished to better position himself within the group, and at the right moment, siphoning power away from those who held it. He was strong of will, body, and great with weapons, though not strong of character. The problem was that Hana’s ploys were so well thought through that nothing bad ever stuck to him.

By the time he had reached adulthood, he was one of the most well-known mercs in the Vents, and also one of the most despised. When you worked with Hana the job was always completed. The problem was, you had to deal with Hana. This was well-known to the man himself, and Hana took pleasure in recognizing that others couldn’t stand him. It kept them fearful and uncertain, which allowed Hana to be a better manipulator than he would have been able to be otherwise.
