Pastel Palace

The ruins of Jumieges Abbey are a photographers paradise. We had 4 nights booked to stay in the village and this location was top of my list. One snag, we couldn't bring our dog Huxley into the grounds which meant my partner went in first while I dog sat. I waited patiently for her (tried !) until it was my turn to go in. On entry I went into full on photographer mode with my two cameras slung around my neck. Luckily shooting with infrared means I am not laden down with a tripod so was free to explore making mental notes of viewpoints as I went. Out of all the viewpoints this was the first I noted and it didn't disappoint.
This place was one of the highlights of our trip, and we have the fridge magnet and postcard to prove it.
