The piece is inspired by the film “A Trip to the Moon”, by Georges Méliès, which narrates the journey of a group of astronomers who travel and return from the moon, making a nod to the making of the scene where they land in the eye of the moon, the portrait, that alludes to the feminine aesthetics of the time, aims to re-contextualize the scene using elements from it, such as the paper rocket that was the way to recreate the effect of the moon landing on the actor's face, and by adding the earrings with the Ethereum symbol I seek to make reference to the historical milestone, since both films marked and will mark history, the first within the formation of cinema and film production and the second as the evolution of artistic intervention and film creation of the modern era, closing the cycle to carry out the film that has brought us together here. WAGMAM Collection collection image

The Infinite Machine Collection team wants to reward its holders with an airdrop of works created by our 34 artists. As WAGMAM, we have decided that this new derivative collection will have “cinema”, or “the cinematic”, as a common theme. Cinema is the artistic manifestation that in itself brings together visual arts, literature, and technology. In turn, films can be used as a powerful tool for communication, dissemination, and freedom. It is precisely on this basis of diverse expressions and functions that the community of Ethereans has been created. Therefore, the artists have created pieces that reference cinema or cinematography. These references are achieved either from the use of iconographic motifs and symbols of cinema, or with the use of film language resources in the composition of the image.
