I believe it is important to demystify sexual and gender stigmas, not only the ones related to who you love or who you are but also the ones related to the ways you choose to express that identity and sexuality.

"if you are a feminist you shouldn't enjoy being submisse in bed", "it is not a healthy relationship if you enjoy violence while having sex"", "you shouldnt be with so many sexual partners",etc.

I have heard this sort of stamentents in allegedly "safe" environments: feminist rallys, group of non cis/binary friends at partys: basically from people that should know better what shaming and judging others implies.

i can only wonder what it must feel to be a young developing person and hear someone you admire, or an influencer or your friends make you doubt how normal of healthy what you enjoy and makes you happy is.

I believe we are doing a great job accepting the light in diversity, but we also have to accept the darkness.

...and we have to realize it is not dark at all.

Playboy x Sevens: The Art of Gender and Sexuality collection image

Playboy and Sevens Foundation are proud to announce a first-of-its-kind partnership that brings a new four-part NFT grant-exhibition series focusing on Playboy’s core editorial themes of Gender and Sexuality, Speech, Equality, and Pleasure to life. The collaboration provides underrepresented digital artists with the opportunity to mint and sell their work in the metaverse. Playboy and Sevens recognize how the fight for equality and representation that continues to define the art world at large is particularly urgent in the fast-moving world of NFTs. As such, the first installment of the series, The Art of Gender and Sexuality, invited applicants to celebrate the power of diverse identities and perspectives. The exhibit was curated by artists ix shells, Anne Spalter & Shantell Martin, and Playboy head of art & editorial Liz Suman & creative director Erica Loewy.
