One night, I met with a photographer from South Africa, and it was her first visit to Seoul, and I was showing her around. She fell in love with the city and what the city could offer, so I took her to a rooftop where the whole 360 view is packed with sky-high buildings, stream, disctrict for people to go out at night and spend their time with friends, co-workers, and families. The view from this place, represents Seoul. She fell in love with this place within a second and were speechless for a moment. Her visit was a short visit. Yet, she fell love in love with the city but were sad at the same time since she couldn't be here for long.

After that, I also visited Tokyo, where she lived at the time and spent 2 and half weeks, and I was shooting photos constantly. Even with hundreds and more gigabytes of images, I felt like I was missing something. That's when I realized I was feeling the same feelings she had for Seoul. Felt like I was glitched into a place where I was not from and glitching back to reality. That's when I felt creativity in photography was a blessing and a curse at the same time.
