Daydreaming is what I do best. As an artist, drifting off into my imagination is the most important skill I can master. Switching off completely, ignoring the outside world and escaping to a universe you've built in your head is no easy task when there's the realities of life to contend with. It's a form of meditation, and one that I like to feel I haven't necessarily mastered, but I am learning to tame a little bit more each time I create. Since becoming a dad earlier this year, I've had this burning desire to reignite all those childhood curiosities and bring my "When I grow up" dreams to life.
After a few of my daydreaming sessions and hours of doodling in my sketchbook, I finally came up with a character I wanted to bring to life. Inspired by my passion for collectible toy culture and my love for the timeless and loveable characters created by Disney and Pixar, I created REMO. A cute alien character on a mission to help me share my out of this world creations.
REMO embodies my childhood curiosities of outer space, the weird and wonderful, and answers all those questions that get more silly the older you get.

REMO was created to reignite our love for toys and our innate desire to be forever young. The sole mission is to satisfy your inner big kid by bringing back childhood nostalgia and collectible toy culture and rewarding you with both digital and physical gifts you'll always cherish.
The Roadmap will begin immediately after mint, followed by monthly raffles and rewards. There'll be lots more to look forward to as the project unfolds, but the start of the project is based on four core objectives:

Regular Toy Drops will be announced giving holders exclusive access to mint REMO Toys for free (gas fees apply).
The longer you hold your REMO 1/1s, the more REMO Toys you will acquire. The goal is to collect them all. Holders will receive a notification on Discord and X before every Toy Drop goes live. Toy Drops will take place on dedicated Opensea drop pages.
Before adopting digital techniques to bring his ideas to life, Joey's chosen medium is oil on canvas. REMO holders will be entered into several raffles throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to own Joey's original artworks, ranging from oil paintings and works on paper, to experimental spray stencil and sketchbook musings.
Joey wants to give holders collector's items that money can't buy.

Joey Tadiar is a London based artist inspired by his childhood curiosities, collectible toy culture and his love for cartoons and the timeless characters created by the likes of Disney and Pixar.
Spanning his work across both physical and digital mediums with a particular fondness for oil painting, Joey plans to create a familial community of collectors and reward them with his paintings, digital creations and his series of hand-painted toys.
Having worked as the Creative Director and artist on Warner Records’ and Bose. Stickmen Toys, Joey is now bringing his big kid ideas to life, starting with REMO’S World and the REMO Virtual Pet.
