The starting point of this project was how both of us valued quality time as our foremost love language, and I wanted to commemorate this facet of our relationship during our wedding banquet on 21 January 2024. Through “Quality Time”, I hoped to share a little piece of ourselves with family and friends, to thank them for being present as Adelle and I cement our presence in each other’s lives as a married couple. Each work in this series would be given as a print to each guest at our wedding banquet, who could also claim the accompanying NFT if they wish to.

Each scene depicted in “Quality Time” thus reflects a state of suspension – of time, place, gravity and even reality – inviting viewers to transcend the immediate context of our wedding banquet, and imbue their own perspectives and meanings into what they see.
