This collection is designed by three of Patternsfrom Agency's eight designers: Ammi Lahtinen, Hanna Ruusulampi and Nonodd Design Studio's Siri Huovila. The designers are introduced more precisely below.

Patterns in this small NFT collection are contemporary, abstract and playful, suitable for various purposes. When buying the NFT, you'll receive the pattern repeat, which you can use commercially in the product category that the NFT defines.

This NFT collection is a pilot for Patternsfrom Agency on the potential that web3 provides for textile designers. We are super-happy for all kind of feedback!

Patternsfrom Agency is Finland-based design agency for textile and surface design. Our services include designing patterns, and coordinating collections, concepts and colorways. Please check further details on our webpage www.patternsfrom.fi.

Designers
Ammi Lahtinen

Ammi’s style blends natural motifs with modern minimalism, combining cozy color palettes with playful florals and geometric patterns.

Since childhood, Ammi knew she wanted to pursue a creative career. With a passion for textile design sparked at 16, Ammi’s journey of creativity and learning has taken her from vocational school to a BA in Textile Arts, enriched by the adventures of student exchange in London and culminating in a Master’s degree in the same field.

Ammi graduated from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2014. Therefore, she brings over a decade of professional experience and a solid educational background to her design projects.

Ammi’s approach to design is a combination of artistry and analysis. As she describes, “One can have the passion to create for the sole sake of art, self-expression, and admiration of beauty – but as a professional textile designer, I can turn the individual sketches into a production-ready, color-coordinated collection that follows the possibilities and limitations of the chosen production machinery.”

Hanna Ruusulampi

Hanna Ruusulampi is a freelance designer and illustrator from Vantaa, Finland. Her main focus is surface pattern design, illustration, and graphic design. Her past projects have included designs and patterns for surfaces such as fabrics, home textiles, wallpapers, and luxury hand-embroidered accessories.

She can work with almost any theme. The Internet is her source of inspiration. There are so many pictures and so many themes to explore. She enjoys most working with small, independent manufacturers who appreciate her skills and style and to whom the design plays an important role. These companies do not necessarily follow the trends but rather create them.

Hanna often doubts the norms, both in business and in private. When designing a commissioned pattern, she tries to find a new angle on the theme. She searches for conflicts between themes and styles and tries to use the best bits in her works.

Nonodd Design Studio - Siri Huovila

Nonodd Design Studio is full of color, animal power, and quirky edge!

Nonodd Design Studio is a team of two energetic designers Tanja Aivila and Siri Huovila. The team designs personalized patterns, pictures, and surfaces for example for home textiles, wallpapers, and plywood.

Nonodd Design Studio's patterns often combine hand-painting with digital design. Animal themes are often represented in Nonodd’s patterns and artwork because the appearance and expressions of animals are extremely fascinating. However, the inspiration for the patterns can be found both in nature and in the heart of the city. Ideas for the patterns can come from an evening walk by the sea or forest, and sometimes just sitting in a bus on the way home. Then it is time just to simply capture those interesting passing moments by drawing and photographing.
