With a foundation in comics, Van Patten has since branched out into large-scale mural work with companies such as Warner Music Group, Starbucks, Whole Foods, and various breweries. His inspiration is pulled from dark humor comics, 1960’s surrealism, psychedelic garage rock albums, and modern societal absurdity. Additionally, he has illustrated album covers for War, Les Claypool, and the Grateful Dead.
