Arcimboldo: an Italian painter of the early 1500s well known and recognizable for the mannerist use of "Ritratti Burleschi" executed connected to each other objects that skilfully combined create a sort of representative deception of a masterfully depicted portrait. Surely the effect obtained in the figures proposed in this volume is not in the least comparable with the historical original of the great Master, however the final result is decidedly lovable and tasty and identifiable in his style. In the construction of the collection we wanted to give a "storytelling", a complete meaning that accompanies the viewer in my imagination in a simple and satisfying way. Here I want to reiterate a concept that I have already expressed in other publications and which gradually strengthens in my thinking as a creative: "a formula one car, albeit competitive, without an adequate driver will never win any grand prix".
