Charles Birnbaum is a self-taught photographer and briefly studied with Fred Picker of Zone VI Studio. He has been working in the media off and on since the late 60’s. During the COVID-19 pandemic Charles returned to creating photographs and within a few months was awarded 3rd prize in Still Life in the 2020 International Chromatic awards. So far in 2021 he has been accepted in seven gallery exhibitions and two of his photographs are being published, one for the International Chromatic wards and another in the Loosen Art magazine. Charles has a BF in ceramics from the Kansas City art Institute and did graduate work at the Tller School rt.
