Since 1901, the JNF Blue Box has been a symbol for Jews worldwide. Through charity collections using the "pushke," the Jewish people would acquire land from the Ottoman Empire that would later become the State of Israel in 1948. The Blue Box has led to the development of the land by enabling the planting of trees in parks and forests, preparing the ground for new communities and agriculture, water reservoirs, and infrastructure.

This single edition one-of-a-kind NFT commemorates Israel's Independence Day and symbolizes the bond between the Jewish people and the land of Israel. The Hatikvah, Israel's national anthem, heard in the background, was sung by HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir, a program of the Zamir Choral Foundation, in 2017 at the Metropolitan Opera House by 500 HaZamir singers and alumni in front of 4000 people in the audience. This rendition is the first and only time it has been performed in the world-renowned venue.
