Night of June 15, 2011, Boston Bruins 4–0 won over Vancouver Canucks in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup hockey game finals. Thousands of rioters smashed windows, looted shops, torched vehicles and fought in downtown Vancouver. After the riot, thousands of volunteers organized to clean up the damage since the dawn. Then, tens of thousands of citizens joined in the clean up. Boarded up windows were covered in apologies and warm words to defence of the city's reputation.
