John Lennon - gone too soon. As a performer, writer or co-writer, Lennon had 25 number-one singles in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He was a singer, songwriter, musician and peace activist. His influence on the youth, when I was growing up, was intense. We idolized his passive nature and gravitated to the things he said. Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono used their honeymoon as a "Bed-In" for PEACE at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel, March 1969, and attracted worldwide media ridicule. Like I always say, if you are pissing people off in the art world, you're doing something right.
