This museum contains unique items from all over the world and different time periods. Many of these items were tied to inexplicable history altering events. Other used to belong to magicians with unnatural powers likely sourced from the item. There were several unusual gadgets, some locked container and boxes with unknown contents. There were also jars filled with some odd creatures or organs. Moreover these item were believed to contain otherworldly magic, but it was still unknown from where exactly.

These objects were deemed too dangerous and unpredictable to be allowed outside this magically protected museum. The access was restricted to only approved people, usually scholars who studied the items. All of the observations and experiments had to be performed extremely carefully under extremely strict guidelines, even so there have been incidents. The most dangerous items were said to be hidden in chambers below the museum, inaccessible to any visitors. Of course this chamber was the hero’s destination and she had to find a way in. The item she was looking for was likely there, it was her best chance to succeed the grand mission and she was willing to take the risk.

Fortunately her previously prepared distraction worked on her museum guide, so she had some time to explore freely. The rooms were rather like a maze, so she tried to not get lost. As she search for any secret doors, so also observed any potential entry points for her later return. Finally she entered a room where she felt a slight breeze even though the windows were shut tight. She had a feeling that the secret entrance was here, but it was hard to pinpoint the source. The hero softly knocked on several places, looking for any hollow sound. She finally found it behind a display table, containing a big golden ruby chalice, which looked somewhat out of place. At a closer inspection, one of the rubies appeared fake- it was rather worn out and scratched. This had to be it, the secret entrance button.
