Filter was painted in 2018 with acrylics, spray paint, bitcoin whitepaper and deconstructed USD on a 30"x40" canvas. "Filter #0 - Original" NFT was given to the original buyer of the painting. Open edition physical prints were released of this work. It cannot be guaranteed that NFTs and physicals will be sold together after initial sale. Filter has become my most iconic piece as it represents my logo and brand. The artwork depicts a woman with a gas mask lined by the Bitcoin white paper. The gas mask is filtering out the corrupt world of fiat and allowing the air to be purified with the bitcoin gas mask. Each breath reveals the truth of our system and with her filter, she can finally take control of her own destiny and financial freedom.

This piece later became a special milestone for me. In 2019 I added augmented reality (AR) to it, and suddenly my art was alive and anyone could experience it through a free app. I released the updated piece a few days before the massive crypto conference, Consensus 2019, and the buzz was insane. I added AR to prints, t-shirts, stickers, etc. People were walking around scanning all of their Filter gear and using the trick as a means to spread the message and ethos of the broader crypto space.
