This was taken in late Fall 2022 at the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. Any time I can spend at the Bosque fills me with hope. I want to see the migrating cranes and the fall colors, and I am especially connected to the wide-open skies. The Bosque is one of my first memories of New Mexico as a young college kid. My first love and I came here once to view a sunset, which sparked my love of birds and the big sky landscapes of New Mexico.
