For me representation is important because in my
childhood I never felt connected or relevant. The
only Honduran artist that I could ever find was
Teresita Fortin. She was an artist-a female artist.
She was one of my first role models. I also use
curiosity as a factor in my painting I want the
viewer to wonder what certain aspects mean and
just let there imagination go wild. I see this in
other artist's work and it is so fun to look at the
image and then create your own
