A swift, inquisitive, and persistent hunter, the Silky shark's sickle shaped tail and relatively smooth skin offer both speed and agility. Their social nature means they both live and hunt as a pack, which is, interestingly enough, called a shiver. Able to distinguish and track schools of fish across extended distances due to their acute hearing, a shiver of silkies will encircle their prey, slowly compacting it into a ball before striking.
