Artist Anatoly Shuravlev. With "Faces" Shuravlev continues to create a fractural universe through details. For 4.12 minutes of a video loop, he used 1560 images of people. After a few seconds, fast-rotating fractural images create a united body, a 'black hole', a vortex of the universe where expression of endless pleasure could be easily perceived as an expression of fear or death. The monochromic video was created specifically for old-style black and white TV. One of the video editions is in the permanent collection of Neuer Berliner Kunstverein n.b.k. (Berlin, Germany).
