A small island named Kapapa sits off the east shores of Oahu next to the famous Kaneohe Sand Bar. My son and I set sail on our small catamaran to finally set foot on this island we have only seen in the distance. An hour sail allowed us to set foot on its shores. The beach filled with shells, coral and barnacles. The island itself home to nesting sea birds burrowed throughout the island. This moment was captured on the 7th of July, off that coral beach. Oahu and the Ko'olau off in the distance.
