In a handful of Q&A sessions here in the NFT space, I've mentioned that my photographic journey started twenty years ago (almost to the day!) during a two-month college trip to Costa Rica. I bought a brand new little point-and-shoot, and I brought it with me all around the country on our weekend excusions away from San José. We visited rainforests, ruins, beaches, and villages, but one of my favorite spots of all was a couple minutes from our home base hotel.

During the last week of the trip, I discovered that the top level of the parking garage of the mall nearby afforded an excellent view of the city and the mountains, and it was my new go-to spot to catch the sunset! I saw a few absolutely gorgeous ones, and this shot from my final evening in Costa Rica is one of my favorites. The sun's happy rays were with me in my memory as my flight departed early the next morning. :)
