Piazza Del Campo was first paved in 1349, becoming a vital part of the medieval city of Siena in Italy, and recently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a historic center and a main public space surrounded by beautiful architecture. A few of many highlights here include Fonte Gaia and Torre del Mangia. The shell-shaped square also hosts annual road cycling races and horse-race events.
