The clincher came in Game 5, as Miami overcame a pair of 33-point performances from New Jersey’s Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson to steal the game in the final moments—a last-second deflection and steal by Dwyane Wade. Wade would once again lead Miami statistically, upping his scoring average to over 27 points per game to go along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
