The story you will read inspired us to produce a new XUMU garment.

First Day

The further he went North, the more dejected but hostile things became. The plains near the pole were not velvety, but rather like tattered entrails.

Was Xenthi the forgotten planet a slain god? Bleeding nonstop, struggling to wake up…

The march, filled with thoughts, nightmares, and pain, continued through the countless color changes of the sky.

Finally, when the hills emerged, Dushan stopped and looked back one last time.

There, against the red background of nothingness, stood his life as far as the eye could see.

Xenthi was crying for Dushan like a lover with a broken heart.

It took two days to cross the hills. His legs were burning like diesel. At the beginning of the third day, the sky, woven by fibers of light of various shades, bestowed upon him his purgatory.

Beneath the pale morning of Xenthi, a desert of red ice appeared. The red glaciers looked like the hair of a cursed goddess driven here millions of years ago.

It was nice to walk on the ice; for this ground was neither hard nor rough. It was unlike any tissue on Xenthi's surface. Dushan could feel the breathing of time in this brown hell.

Snow falling from thin carbon clouds burned the suit he had created from his own skin. Life was lengthening on the one hand, shrinking on the other, drifting into the Dushan truth. He didn't even know what day of the march it was anymore.

He hadn't counted how many times the light disappeared and came back. He did not count the darkness, because he did not see the light.

It was daytime when he awoke. The wind was blowing, flying particles of dust and ice.

“I know what you're thinking,” said a voice vibrating in the glowing airwaves. Dushan looked around in horror but saw nothing. There was only a white space.

The voice continued; "Come on and see the truth."

"I've come to make a deal," Dushan shouted, suppressing his fear and acknowledging his end.

“I do not deal with the living!” replied the voice. “The Supreme already knows that!”

Dushan shuddered. "I'm willing to die," he said helplessly. “As long as it happens as soon as possible!”

“Are you willing to see the truth? Truth is more terrible than death…”

Before his mind could even create an answer, Dushan saw something shining in the trembling airwaves. It was a glass-enclosed capsule. It was a mirror that had turned Xenthi inside out; Inside was Dushan himself. He recognized his reflection as soon as he saw it. He was as naked as on the First Day.

Everything else would come after him.
