When we think of shapes in general, we often think of the square, circle and triangle.
The spiral is a shape that I find far more interesting. It is infinite in nature and it presents itself from very small in our DNA to very big as the universe itself.
I started this spiral with a fractal. From there I built it up to what you see here. It is up to you to decide if this is a super huge spiral or an immensely small one.
Digital artist @ Dotterde.com. Born: 1976. Country: The Netherlands.
Likes: Art, music, games, new tech, movies(mostly fantasy and sfi fi).
My illustrations are detailed where necessary and minimalistic where possible. It could be called Impressionism with a twist.
Sometimes I have a thought out plan and sometimes I just like to start with nothing and let my the drawing lead me(that doesn’t always work).
I like mystery, contradictions and opposites. Black and white versus color. Complicated versus simple. Real versus imaginary.
I often have these elements(and others) in my illustrations.
Enjoy my work as I do.
