"Vulnerability: A Different Kind of Mega-Thread" I have spent countless hours, days, and weeks worth of time studying the Robotos, Robopet, and Humankind NFT art collections by Pablo Stanley and his team. When I think about sharing what I've learned, I wonder about three key ideas:

  1. No matter what words I could use, it feels like all of them amount to such a terrible injustice for art that should perhaps only be discovered by those looking to both intellectually and emotionally understand for themselves before falling in love with it for themselves.
  2. As one might imagine with any art collections about robots and humans (especially during a time when ChatGPT is revolutionizing what it means to be creative, resourceful, and even human), I find it impossible for me to write without deeply reflecting on the circumstances in my life that have all led me to these perpetually fleeting moments of awe and wonder.
  3. Moving forward, I only feel more convinced and more determined to focus my time and attention towards the audiences outside of the small audience I have cultivated during these past three years I spent trying to keep up with many rapidly changing environments. We all have moments when we lead, and we all have moments when we follow, so I will simply say this: I took a risk in selling my Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT when its price was well below half of its All-Time High (ATH) market price in order to support the Humankind project -- as heavily as that decision allowed me to -- and it's a choice that I will NEVER allow myself to regret. Besides NFTs that I created or was airdropped, it was both my first NFT purchase and my first NFT sale. People who make a living from discussing NFT prices, NFT mechanics, and NFT ecosystems might say it was a foolish move but, if we can all agree that many of the reasons we do the things we do go far beyond money, then we are collectively one step closer to directing our attention towards behaviors that are much more meaningful and fulfilling. My purpose isn't to teach anyone how to make more money; my purpose is to interact with people in ways that leave them as complete as they already were, yet also with a little more than that. This initial writeup is for everyone who defines themselves as human, and for anything that wishes to have a better understanding of what a human is. We humans all define love in different ways, and we pursue that love based on how important and available it is to us, how deserving we think we are of it, and how far we are diligently willing to chase after it. We all want to feel important and accepted to varying extents and, while the world is changing rapidly, these ideas remain constant for as long as we remain human. This writeup is for the purpose of highlighting one very special international art project in a vast sea of creativity, and how it is likely to dually attract artists from diverse backgrounds and inspire many who may not currently consider themselves artists to find parts of themselves they didn't know they were looking for. Art is as beneficial and necessary for our shared humanity as science is, but one of the biggest obstacles between understanding that idea and measuring that idea is the subjectivity and scrutiny that all art faces from each unique individual observing it. Science is easier to calculate and quantify while art provides an infinite number of ways to conceptualize every scientific idea. While art and science have both existed long before recorded history and will both exist long after, we are all very privileged to live during a time when Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT or "blockchain") can combine the two and allow us to create, share, and collect art like never before. Everyone reading this writeup or listening to it has been taught at least one spoken language by someone else who existed before them. Those teachings are just one form of information delivered from one being to another, and they transcend the genetic information delivered autonomously and automatically by DNA and RNA because they are willfully chosen by the givers and by the receivers; by the teachers and by the students. So, whether you own a physical seashell given to you by a loved one, or own some digital representations of many culturally-relevant lifeforms, or if you listened to a single piece of music enough times and with enough attention to commit it to memory, those things are each only possible because of many other things which all existed before you did, and because of many architectural combinations of fate, circumstance, and luck during your journey. I look forward to sharing significantly more art and music next year than thoughts and opinions.

The imperfections in the writing and music add a human element to them, and increase their value here.
