3 Final images of Pharrell Williams from my archives from our session in 2001. Photographed in Toronto, Canada. I had the afternoon with Pharrell, choosing where we met, making sure the store had a selection of decks and bikes for Pharrell to choose. He was impressed that i did my research and chose such a cool spot to meet. He owned the lowrider, so he wanted to shoot with that bike, he didn't own a big wheel BMX so he bought that bike on the spot. He tricked that bike all the way to the location doing 180 bunny hops and whips. I shot the lowrider image first, and the second look with the BMX in a second location. The trick "no hander no footer" is a one frame shot on 35mm film. The 2 portraits shot on Hasselblad 500cm, scanned and exported. This is an extremely rare, limited collection. EDITION OF 1.
