Do you all ever think that if you are part of light or dark? Or are you a element of both? I think that we all have these moments where we dwell with this existential crisis between light and darkness... Where we are unable to discern our true self. On one such day, with these ambiguous thoughts crossing my minds, I found myself capturing this picture - "Pierced". But you may question, why “Pierced” ? Well, there lies a plain and simple answer to it. Because as Dumbledore said, "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light". So in a way, I think we are a beautiful blend of light and dark. Yes, mark it...’beautiful blend’. Either you are of a melancholy disposition or you are a cherry blossom. At some point we all are vulnerable in the hands of our emotions. But that doesn't make us weak, that doesn't make us ugly...that makes a beautiful balance of nature, created to face adversity yet to stand strong to voice our journey later. But still, why “Pierced” ? If you see this picture closely, you will find two elements, dark and light. But the light here is playing a vital role. The light is piercing through the black silhouettes of the men as if dispersing all the darkness that they ever witnessed, guiding their path towards a better end of the day, adorning their souls with new positivity, piercing in their existence and invoking their true nature just to remind them that even if we are a blend of nature's evil and white, we are still beautiful as long as we allow our souls to be pierced by the light of wisdom, knowledge, compassion and humanity, the four very basic qualities that I find lacking in many human beings. So with this, let me just remind you that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ! AND PEOPLE AROUND YOU CAN BE BEAUTIFUL TOO, ONLY IF YOU LIGHT THE TORCH FOR THEM, IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO SO BY THEMSELVES. Don't give up on efforts. Efforts make you beautiful. Beautifully “Pierced” you would be too.
