If I compare myself to others, it will lead to two possible outcomes: First, I’m "better" than the other person. This will make me feel proud, snooty and smug. Or secondly I’m „worse“ than the person I compare myself with. This opens the door to self-doubt, fear and envy. Things I don’t wanna burden myself with. I wanna focus on my aims and the good things around me to become the best version of myself. So I stopped comparing myself to others.
