East Croydon Cool is a community marketing platform that showcases the coolest things to see, do and experience in Croydon.
East Croydon Cool is keen to start the NFT conversation in Croydon. We have created a series of NFTs that incorporate NFT and Cryptocurrency language (with a tongue-in-cheek twist) to help educate people on some of the key terminology.
The 'Minted in the Cronx' NFT
Minting is essentially the process of turning digital art into a part of the Ethereum blockchain as a public ledger. The Cronx is a portmanteau of Croydon (Or it’s postcode; CR0) and The Bronx, and has been used as an affectionate reference to the often maligned Borough. Croydon is not generally considered one of the most affluent areas of London and not many of us are “minted” but perhaps the NFT revolution will change that?
This NFT comes with added utility - you will be sent an East Croydon Cool mug in the post after purchase.
You can now show your neighbourhood pride with your very own East Croydon Cool NFT.

One of the coolest things about Croydon is its creative credentials (including both Creative Enterprise Zone AND London Borough of Culture status).
With NFTs set to revolutionise the creative industries, East Croydon Cool wants to start the NFT conversation and help local artists to embrace this new world. We have created a series of NFTs that incorporate NFT and Cryptocurrency language (with a tongue-in-cheek twist) to help educate people on some of the key terminology.
