I've been on a personal quest of self-discovery for much of my adult life; many notable moments have led to significant shifts in my life.
When I stood atop Kilimanjaro, watching the sunrise over the 2nd peak. I wasn't impressed; that moment cascaded into a beautiful shift of perspective and an integration of my life that has opened a world of deep connections with the world. (Plus, I now see the beauty in this sunrise and many others😃)
From Kili, I ended up in Peru, where I decided to work only with friends. This revelation created deeper relationships and growth for me, my friends, and our businesses. We see and recognize that we're more than the task at hand, that the development of ourselves is primary to the work we do, and that our lives outside the office are essential to the work we do for each other.
Significant shifts in understanding my world and how I wanted to interact with the world have continued to occur. The world has been unfolding in the most remarkable ways; I meet incredible people, get invited to be a part of unique projects, and find moments of awe as part of my days.
Recently, I met someone who looked at the world in a way that I wasn't familiar with. She shared how she learned to be present in the moment and to witness the world around her, to feel the colors of each moment expressing themselves through the vibration of light.
Inspired by this awareness, I see new colors, I see new shapes, I see through new eyes, and wow, thank you :)
With this inspiration, I'm releasing a set of works, a collaboration between my photography and an AI I created to repaint life. I'm titling this collection ThroughNewEyes, and I hope you will find more colors in your days.
The AI model mimics how the human brain takes information from our eyes, finds edges, sees contrast, recognizes shapes & patterns, and identifies objects in scenes. When we look at an artist's work, the weights of all these functions are different; each work has a unique fingerprint in our minds. I used these fingerprints to see how to view another's work. The AI allows us to see my photography through new eyes. :)

Inspired by this awareness, I see through new eyes. I see new colors, I see new shapes, I see differently now, and wow, thank you :)
