Hukluban is the goddess of Death. She can take any mortal's soul or destroy any village simply by raising her hand. Although Hukluban has the power to transform her appearance into anything she desires, her true form is that of a decrepit old woman. The word "Hukluban" itself means "crone" or "hag". She is one of the three agents of Sitan (the god of Evil), along with Mangangaway (the goddess of Disease) and Manisilat (the goddess of Broken Marriages).
