Picture a Change (PAC) is a 1/1 project w/ 40 photos taken over the span of 8 years. Nikk says photography changed the trajectory of his life from being a troubled youth to inspiring kids around the world.
Starting with over 300 students in Oakland, CA, Nikk taught photography to youth in his hometown, inspiring them to be anything they wanted and not just what they saw in their environment. The success of the program grew into a project called Picture a Change, co-founded with friend Adrian B. From the favelas of Brazil to the slums of India, the two travel to marginalized communities around the world, teaching people how to tell their own stories through the lens of a camera. A picture can spark a change, and PAC showcases the resilience of the human spirit and its desire to live in a better world.
PAC is self-funded with help from friends and family. Purchasing this collection would help give back to these communities and fund future projects. For more info, visit nikkla.co/pac
