Because of the movies I watched and the novels I read, I was believing that London would be foggy. But after moving to London, I realized it's not most of the time. The fog is more ordinary for Istanbulites. You can wake up in the morning and find the Bosphorus blanketed with fog. The bad news is all ferries are cancelled.
