My debut collection features 5 bridges located in the San Francisco Bay. The Carquinez, Richmond, both Bay Bridges and the most recognizable bridge in the world: The Golden Gate. I’ve lived in the Bay my whole life. I’ve driven across these bridges numerous times, walked across some, and have even climbed to the top of one! These images were taken within the last 6 years in varying conditions. The point of this collection is not only to highlight these architectural beauties, but to illustrate the sense of community through building bridges. In 2020 I connected with many photographers, some of which are now great friends. Despite Covid, these new platforms have put the social back into social media for me. The point of a bridge is simple; to connect two points that may otherwise not be achievable. We are making connections and friendships that may last a lifetime. I’m not a proponent of burning your bridges. But! Should one be burned, allow it to illuminate the path to your next bridge
