My favorite time of year in Colorado is autumn and the elk rut. I spend as many days as I can in Rocky Mountain National Park photographing the elk. I captured this image of a bull in the middle of lake bugling at two other males who were coming toward his harem that was near the lake. I love the uniqueness of him in the middle of the lake.
