This painting is a reinterpretation of "La Blouse Roumaine" by Henri Matisse.

Constantin Brâncuși is one of the artists who inspired me since I started to paint. I fell in love with his honest and clear technique, even though he expressed it trough sculpture, most of his works have found an important place in my paintings.

Henri Matisse dedicated "La Blouse Roumaine" to the beauty of the traditional Romanian blouse and in "22/Gnosis" I honor Brancusi in a beautiful traditional Transylvanian costume.

The embossed phrase that accompanies the painting belongs to Robert Lanza (Robert Lanza, Beyond Biocentrism: Rethinking Time, Space, Consciousness, and the Illusion of Death) and synthesizes my entire work.
