The Art of War - Afghanistan Collection is a developing set of trading card style images of stencils and other graffiti placed along the t-walls, barricades and other placed by soldiers and others across Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Each image was taken by me, Steven Green during my time working and traveling across Afghanistan from 2012-2013, where I actively searched out graffiti and stencils at every location along the way. It became an interesting way to pass time and distract myself from the thought of being in danger practically every day during that time. If art has a story, this collection has many from me, but especially those who left their marks across the walls of Afghanistan that are captured in this collection.
