The manifesto 'The New Painterly Realism' refers to Malevich's manifesto of Suprematism from roughly a century ago. The 21st century New Painterly Realism is generated by code and exists exclusively in VR. The appearance is, in accordance with the Suprematist visual language, abstract. Any meaning or sense making should be avoided. It is solely about actual visual phenomena and the relationships between them.

This also reflects the ideas of the German philosopher Wittgenstein, who argues that language is a difficult tool to work with. It is therefore better to limit yourself to what you can speak about and to remain silent about the rest. For artists, this means that they (re)position themselves in the formal abstract tradition of painting.
