Star balloons are pretty common finds, but we have not found many black ones. We love the way this one photographed. It speaks to the mystery of its origin. Who released it and why? How long was it floating in the ocean before we found it? How many starry nights did it look up at waiting to be rescued. This is a very unique NFT and is 1 of 1.

Balloon Brigade is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We remove balloons, and other floating debris, through direct action efforts before they can hurt wildlife. All donations to Balloon Brigade are tax deductible. This status may apply to both the initial purchase of the NFT and to subsequent royalties paid on transfer of ownership. Please consult with your financial advisor or tax consultant.

All proceeds from this collection go directly to Balloon Brigade to help us make our beautiful coastal waters cleaner and safer for everyone. Each balloon in this collection is truly a one of a kind piece of art shaped by the Pacific Ocean and photographed by internationally awarded creative team of Lee Walters and Shane Hutton.

Pollution in our oceans is a serious problem. Foil balloons, because they are bright, colorful, and float, are the easiest ocean litter to see and to catch. That’s true for people, and, sadly, that’s true for whales, dolphins, seals, fish, turtles, and seabirds as well.
