WAVE TO ME is a collection of some of my favourite wave shots around New Zealand. It doesn’t get much better than getting up close to the curl of the wave before it comes crashing down. Over the span of a few months in summer I spent a good portion of my time in the ocean surfing, diving, and capturing moments like these.

Ever since I was a kid, I had always imagined the curl of the wave to be making a gesture of some sort. Sometimes they wave to me, sometimes they come in hot with an uppercut. Jumping into the deep end and being greeted by waves like this is a feeling I’ll never get tired of.
