Urban Saints is a series of portraits, that I started making in 2009. It was my first serious photographic endeavor and it is what lead me to become a full-time photographer. It also is an amazing opportunity to meet so many remarkable individuals!

I've taken these portraits for over 10 years now, and basically, I am not planning on stopping, there are so many cool people to meet, and so many beautiful locations, that I still haven't shot at. 

The idea behind this project was to showcase inspiring faces and create a mysterious portrait that makes the viewer think and create all sorts of interesting theories about what these ladies are, what they do, why they have a certain demeanor. 

Another desire I had in creating these images, was to also showcase that all around us we can find amazing locations which are inspiring and beautiful, but which we often take for granted.
