美麗島雜誌1979年8月創刊，開啟從威權體制走向民主歷程，本作品以雜誌封面字體創作，由該發行人-黃信介之子授權。

美麗島雜誌總發行量44萬冊，該年總編輯張俊宏、副社長呂秀蓮等與社務人員多數被捕、以軍法判處重刑，雜誌社也因此停刊成為歷史。
這是一部歷史級資產，藉此NFT，獻上感謝。
