Yearning for the solemn quiet still/I can exist here/I have to believe/the hauntings will stop.

The Quiet Still is a collection consisting of a dozen digital landscape pieces - now 15! Each artwork was birthed by my desire to connect with nature as I battle agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is the extreme/irrational fear of crowded places, leaving one's own home, or being fearful of places where one cannot escape. I developed this phobia as an extension to my debilitating anxiety disorder. My anxiety manifests lack of safety nearly every day. Exposure therapy has helped me heal slowly, though it is a fearful, exhausting climb. Within my exposure I noticed I have developed deep yearning for the outdoors. And so, The Quiet Still was created. A small sanctuary for me to experience the sun, the grass, the sea. I hope you find serenity and healing in these pieces as I have.
