This NFT collection honors the Yellow Emperor and the advancements he afforded his country, their culture, and the world. He is also known as the Yellow Thearch (or, for me, the Golden Emperor or the Emperor of the Sun) and by his Chinese name, Huangdi.

Some of the more notable contributions of the Yellow Emperor were the development of the Chinese zodiac, astronomy, math, and agriculture. In traditional Chinese accounts, the Yellow Emperor is credited with improving the livelihood of the nomadic hunters of his tribe. He is credited with teaching people to grow the five grains. 

The Yellow Emperor is also credited with developing the Chinese lunar calendar, a sophisticated timekeeping system still used today. 
This system of time is precisely what is needed to understand these animals and create the Chinese Fertility Wheel.
