RED by artist Ricardo Takamura presents us with a photographic series that proposes a contemporary dialogue about the human presence and its influence on the natural landscape.

Takamura uses the power of the red color in his nocturnal images: color as presence; as a passage; as a mutation; an alert like a hurt; as an emanation of the solitude of a traveler on a distant, devastated planet.

On the other hand, the night sky presents us with the cosmos and it makes us reflect on our origin, possibilities, permanence, our artificiality, daydreams, and fictional and factual nuances.

In these conflicts, the artist emerges on a character of vertical looks, aware that it inhabits retransformed landscapes.

The interlocutor can see that Ricardo Takamura has several points of contact that a moment before seemed scattered. It is in this critical and transformative engagement that a trajectory hits ourselves.
