The inspiration behind it lies in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. There are five different levels of needs: physiological, safety, love & belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. Connection of souls focuses on love & belonging, esteem, & self-actualization. While physiological & safely focuses on our basic needs, the 3 most important levels focus on our self-fulfillment, love & belonging, & esteem. These are the things that keep us stable and provide us with a sense of comfort knowing you are not alone.
